The Wananchi Business Services is part of Wananchi group holding focused on Enterprise, carrier and satellite business in East Africa under SimbaNET, Wananchi Telecom and iSAT Africa brand names respectively. Wananchi retail, under brand name of Zuku, is part of group focused on Triple play services (Broadband Internet, Multi-Channel Cable TV and Voice Telephony) in Kenya, and the greater East African region. This position is meant under Wananchi Business Services – (SimbaNET).We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate with passion and desire to be part of great team – to join our Product Development Team for SimbaNET COM.Effective Date:Immediate

Key Responsibilities
Installation of
Voice switches
IP PBX (Clients Office)
IP Phones (Clients)
Interconnection
Local carriers (connection-engineering)
International carriers (connection-engineering)
Price implementation, export and import – building pricelist
Reporting
Monitoring
Monitoring state of the accounts of Telephony clients in Business services
Monitoring Voice systems
Reporting
Billing reporting and liaising with billing and CRM departments
Daily, weekly, Monthly reports
RD
Product research
Product testing
Product implementation
Education, Skills and Experience Required for the position
Degree/Dip In, Telecommunications, Electrical /Electronic engineering, Computer Sc
The ideal candidate must have more than 1yr experience in the telecoms field
Knowledge of SIP protocol, IP networks.
