Our Client, a growing Retail Chain of Pharmacies in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a CEO to assume full responsibility for the strategy, operations and growth. The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 10 year experience in a pharmaceutical company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and propose strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of the budget, ensuring that expenditures are commensurate with the budgeted revenues and stay within limits approved by the board.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets and new sector development.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies with matters relating to statutory stores licenses and permits.
• Oversee the recruitment process of staff; interviewing, hiring and training of employees.
Qualifications:
• Must have a Master’s Degree.
• At least 15 years working experience 5 of which must have been in a senior management position.
• Experience in retail pharmacy, Pharmacy wholesaling or FMCG supply would be an added advantage.
• Must have experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Must have experience in change management with initiating, leading improvement programs, developing and implementing strategic plans and overseeing change.
• Must have experience in project management, procurement sales and marketing and overseeing advisors and contractors.
• Must have experience in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in cost control and commercial negotiations.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 400,000 /= (Approx. 4,444 USD)depending on experience
