Our client a leading player in the FMCGs industry in East Africa is seeking to recruit Marketing Co-ordinator

Location: Mombasa

The incumbent will be responsible for marketing as well as coordinating with Operations to prioritize analyses related to marketing initiatives
 

The incumbent will be charged with the following duties and responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Supervise social media outreach.
  • Deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail.
  • Coordinate and deliver email campaigns & Mass-mail materials.
  • Create brochures and sell sheets.
  • Provide support to marketing department.
  • Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
  • Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
  • Develop marketing communications campaigns.
  • Create thought leadership materials.
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
  • Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends
Minimum Qualifications
  • A degree in business related field
  • 5 years experience in Marketing of  FMCG

Our client a leading FMCGs Company in East Africa is seeking to recruit a Market Analyst to be placed in Mombasa. 

The incumbent will be responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate market penetration
  • Implement and Coordinate research analysis for new market opportunities &  product potentials
  • Designing and implementation of market research tools (concept-testing ) for new products
  • Scrutinize campaign's return on new & existing product
  • Guarantee extensive market research, validity and quality of information and knowledge to deliver to internal stakeholders
  • Determine brand perceptions and reputations to support business with relevant insights
  • Proactively search and solicit customer feedback to provide solutions and processes to improve outcome of the methodologies
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause and affect relationships
  • Assess client's promotional needs for competitive customer knowledge
  • Implement research to evaluate demographics, prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets.
  • Create post-campaign response tracking and R.O.I. as well as a more detailed campaign response analysis.
  • Generate reports that track competition and customers to help define marketing strategy for marketing leads
  • Track customer behavior such as response, churn, and product selection
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors  Degree in business related field (Marketing option)
  • 3 years experience in sales & marketing  FMCG sector (2 in sales & marketing  / 1 year in marketing research)
  • Ms- office proficient
  • Strong project management skills able to capture and manage action items
