Job Description
- Commercial accountability for planning, organizing and directing all hotel services.
- Supervision of front house functions such as reception reservations, food and beverage operations and housekeeping.
- Taking a strategic overview and planning ahead to maximize profits.
- Paying attention to details, setting example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guest’s needs and expectations.
- To primarily promote and market the hotel to increase business.
- To manage budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure.
- To manage statistical and financial records for the hotel.
- Responsible for setting and achieving sales and profits targets.
- Responsible for meeting and greeting customers and taking any complaints or comments made by customers.
- To ensure that the customer is kept in good accommodation.
- Dealing with suppliers to make the best deals for the hotel.
- To ensure there is effective security.
- Carrying out inspections of property surrounding the hotel to make sure everything is safe.
- To ensure the hotel operates profitably –meet agreed budget.
