Senior Insurance Broker

Our client, an International Insurance company in Nairobi are looking for a Senior Insurance Broker. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years broker experience and a great command of written and verbal English. They will be working closely with the General Manager in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deputise for the General Manager Broking (GMB).
• Taking responsibility for driving the General Insurance (GI) Team in the GMB absence and delivering results.
• Help the GMB to ensure that the structure, systems, operations and culture of the GI team are used to deliver a consistently high level of performance.
• Support the GI team’s relationships with key suppliers, customers and other stakeholders through clear communication and effective service delivery.

Qualifications/skills:

• Must have a minimum education of degree level.
• Must have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in insurance broking.
• Have excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
• Must have excellent computer knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong professional disposition with excellent interpersonal skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh.250,000 -  300,000/= (Approx. 2,700USD – 3,300USD)depending on experience
